Visual: 3D Renders
As we cast a vision for “what the new space” will look like, we are creating a space that’s colorful, and inviting and embraces a warmth and safety that many may not experience in their home environment. We also want it to be a space that is bright and cheerful from LED lighting to color to flooring.
Impact: Trajectory Change
The other element of vision is beginning to see what the impact will be if we love and care for not just children, but moms and dads struggling in poverty. To have someone in your corner, an advocate, hope begins to become a reality. We’ll not only partner with families and single moms to watch and love their children, but we’ll partner with them as parents and community members. Some may need help getting a job, and others may need help with better nutrition. We long to help those in poverty and a poverty mindset begin to take strides to begin a journey of impact.
Vision: A Safe Place
We long for Bell Street (Joshua Tree Childcare & Network of Us) to be a safe place to learn, to grow, and feel a love that isn’t transactional, but a deep care for children, moms, and dads, and their well-being as they move from poverty and begin to make progress and create a better life (from finding a job, learning to budget, eating more nutrient-based meals, etc.). It’s an uphill battle, but those that make it with us to the top will be forever changed.
