Latest Update: Plans Submitted to the City

Architectural plans have been submitted to the city for review!

As we continue to push forward with renovation, it’s exciting to see the progress being made with the Bell Street vision! All the mechanicals and interior renovations are now ready to begin once permits are issued by the City of Bloomington.

Permits Pending

Architectural interior renovation plans have been completed and have been submitted to the city.
HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Flooring, Sprinkler

84 New Windows Installed

All the windows have been replaced with new modern, high-efficiency windows making the building look brand new.

Asbestos Removed

The building has been given a clean bill of health as all flooring, insulation, and windows containing asbestos have been removed/mitigated.

The Vision Coming Into View

Now that all the plans have been finished and the building is ready for renovation, the vision is closer than it’s ever been as we press forward to bring new life to this space.

Joshua Tree Childcare

Joshua Tree has been busy preparing curriculum, food menus, staff needs and more as they get ready to serve low-income families and children.

After School Care

Network of Us will use its Discovery Curriculum for after-school care for elementary-aged siblings and neighbors to build relationships and learn about each home, obstacles, and overcoming.
